No Longer Slaves Part 2

In this message from Romans 8:12–17, we look at the difference between living like a slave and living like a son. Paul shows that the believer has not received the spirit of bondage again to fear, but has received the Spirit of adoption, whereby we cry, Abba, Father. The heart of this sermon is simple but weighty: many people can handle the idea of a distant God, but struggle with the reality of a loving Father. This message confronts the fear of being loved by God and calls believers out of performance, fear, insecurity, and spiritual slavery into the freedom of sonship in Christ.

If you have been battling fear, shame, insecurity, or a performance-based relationship with God, this teaching will help you see what Romans 8 declares over your life:
you do not owe the flesh anything,
you are led by the Spirit of God,
and in Christ, you belong to the Father.
